Hosted by Art at the Rendon, this final program with artists Roman Khimei and Yarema Malashchuk presents Explosions Near the Museum, a film completed by the artists while in residence that features the looted aftermath of the Kherson Museum of Local Lore.

Class lecture and screening at California State University with Roman Khimei and Yarema Malashchuk at California State University, moderated by artist and professor Tanya Brodsky. Open to the public.

In commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the full-scale invasion, House of Ukraine and Kyiv to LA invite guests to join artists Roman Khimei and Yarema Malashchuk for a screening in Balboa Park. Conversation will be held in Ukrainian and English.

Join us at the Institute of Contemporary Arts for the inaugural Kyiv to LA program, featuring films by Yarema Malashchuk and Roman Khimei and a potluck dinner. Films include The Wanderer (2022), How It’s Made (2021), and Dedicated to the Youth of the World II (2019), followed by a conversation with Malaschuk and curator Asha Bukojemsky. Homemade pierogi's and borscht will be served.
